Now with 30% more humidity, ResMed's latest technology ensures the H4i heated humidifier delivers the most humidity output of an integrated device. The H4i clicks easily into place and supports ResMed's full S8 platform- from entry-level CPAP to premium VPAP bilevels. The compact design is unobtrusive in the bedroom and easily packed for travel.
It is designed to offer relief from the symptoms of dryness and congestion associated with CPAP therapy without compromising therapy effectiveness or ease of use. The flip-top lid design eliminates the need to remove the tube for refilling. The seamlessly integrated unit simply snaps into place whenever required and is powered by ResMed's S8 devices--no additional power cords or cables required. The easy-to-use dial control and power-on light plus heating indicator are other user-friendly features of the H4i.
Up to 40% of nasal CPAP users experience nasal congestion and dryness of the nose and throat. Research proves that the warm, moist air that humidification provides can relieve symptoms of dryness and make therapy more comfortable. In fact, compliance gains may be realized sooner if patients start with heated humidity at CPAP initiation.
Studies show that ResMed's HumidAire H4i humidifier outperforms competitive products, making ResMed's devices more effective not only with humidification, but also further enhancing therapy comfort and compliance
The H4i is specifically designed to produce greater humidification outputs to support the higher pressure delivered during bilevel therapy. However, the H4i is more than adequate for CPAP and APAP.
